
Please mark your calendar for the Burnt Store Meadows Property Owners Association Annual Meeting, which will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Burnt Store Presbyterian Church, 11330 Burnt Store Road, Punta Gorda, Florida.
Preparations for the Annual Meeting are already underway. The proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2026–2027 is currently being developed, and the first mailing will be distributed in July. This mailing will provide additional meeting information and include a call for candidates interested in serving on the Board of Directors.
The Association is governed by a five-member Board of Directors, and each year it becomes increasingly challenging to fill open Board positions. This year, the terms of two (2) directors are expiring, creating an opportunity for community members to become involved in the leadership of our Association.
Serving on the Board is a rewarding way to contribute to the continued success and well-being of our community. The Association relies on volunteers with an interest, background, or experience in areas such as landscape maintenance, architectural review, drainage and swale management, communications, and deed restriction enforcement. If you have expertise in any of these areas—or simply a desire to serve your community—we encourage you to consider becoming a candidate.
