I am honored to serve as your new HOA president, I have lived in the Meadows since 2018 and love this neighborhood, I am also your District 5 City of Punta Gorda Council member. If you ever have any City questions, please feel free to reach out to me anytime.
I hope everyone is recovering from all our storms, the Meadows was very lucky and sparred from any flooding. A little update on some questions I have been asked. The decorative lights you see at the beginning of our neighborhood both on the 41 and Burnt Store roadside are City lights. I am aware that the city lights on the BSR are not working, the city hopes to have them back up and running in a week or so. I have also reached out to FPL and the County to see when those lights will be fixed.
Regular yard waste pickup has resumed!!!
The Christmas lighting downtown Punta Gorda will be held on Dec 6th from 5:30pm till 9:30pm. The actual lighting will take place at 7pm. I look forward to seeing everyone there! We are having our annual Holiday Decoration contest for all BSM residents! There will be 3 judges that will drive around and look at all the wonderful decorations and lights, stay tuned. Prizes will be awarded. Additionally, our annual Community Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, February 22nd . So start cleaning out those unwanted things. More details to follow.
